It's raining awards....and I just love the rain!!!!
I have to say that the friends I have made here in the blogging world are the best friends ever!! I have not only read some of the most amazing blogs, but I have had conversations with bloggers from all over the world! It is so nice to be able to chat and share things with the people you meet on here.
That being said, my blogging friends again think my little ole blog is worthy of awards, and I am going to get right to posting them....
This wonderful award was given to me by my good friend Janet over at "Dolly's Daily Diary" who is also now a writer with our magazine Angels (thanks Janet!) and if you haven't checked out her latest post, which is a tribute to her mother, please go do so now. It is a heatwarming and loving post, and I am sure it will touch you, as it did me.
Janet also awarded me with this beauty of an award, The Noblesse Oblige award, and this one comes with all kinds of rules.....lol
This award is presented to bloggers who display consistency in any one or a combination of these conditions:

3. There is a clear purpose at the Blog; one that fosters a better understanding on Social, Political, Economic, the Arts, Culture and Sciences, and Beliefs.
4. The Blog is refreshing and creative.
5. The Blogger promotes friendship and positive thinking.
The Blogger who receives this Award will need to perform the following steps:
1. Create a Post with a mention and link to the person who presented the Noblesse Oblige Award.
2. The Award Conditions must be displayed at the Post.

4. The Blogger must present the Noblesse Oblige Award in concurrence with the Award Conditions.
5. The Blogger must display the Award at any location at the Blog.
Now, I feel that I have a very creative blog, and I do tend to take liberties with my blog, but I am sure that I meet at least one of those conditions listed above......
My post about helping to feed the stray animals of the world was not only inspiring, but also very imformative. And it gave my readers a way to help without having to send money, that is sometimes so hard in our tough economic times right now.....
I have been creative on occasion, especially the posts about making the Twilight jewelry, or making the chainmaille bracelet, or the necklaces and charm bracelets......
Anyway, I guess I have stated my case, and my blog is deserving......
So, now to pass these awards onto some other great blogs that I feel are equally deserving....
My Sweet Three
My Kids are my World
Willow by Woods
Primitive Kountry Happenings
Crafts and Cooking
Lapidary Queen Wannabees
Lucky Girl Trading Co.
There are so many more, I can't even begin to think.....but if you would like these awards, please just drop me a line, link back, and help yourself!!! :)
Now, a new friend, over at Primitive Kountry Happenings, gave me this Lemonade award. Thank you so very much.....I simply love lemonade, almost as much as I love blogging!
And then to top off this wonderful day in the awards heavens......I nabbed these 2 awards from my good friend Sandee at Comedy Plus....she doesn't specifically name blogs to receive these awards, she just lets you take them if you are a regular visitor/commentor (of which I am :))
Now this above award is the Van Gogh award, and I feel that I am creative and crafty, so this one is right on the mark for me....even though it is kind of a weird award...but hey, unusual is usually my thing, so maybe this is right up my alley?? Anyway, credit where credit is due... Roger DMan of Idaho Photo gave Sandee the Van Gogh's Ear award. I wanted to make sure he got the proper credit for creating and designing this great award! Here's what Roger said about this award:
A Top Award for You
Every year I like to make up a award and hand it out to people that make a difference in the blogosphere. I like to make it a award for all to enjoy and pass out if one so wants to, I just ask if your going to give it out to link back to me as the creator of the Van Gogh's Ear Award.
Inspiration of the Van Gogh's Ear Award
You may know the story of Vincent Van Gogh a well known artist in history. Although a brilliant painter in his later years went quite insane he received the nickname of fou roux ("the redheaded madman"). The most bazaar of Vincent's behavior is when he cut off the lower part of his own left ear lobe, which he wrapped in newspaper and gave to a prostitute named Rachel in the local brothel, asking her to keep this object carefully. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide July 29, 1890 he was 37 years old. His works of art are priceless.
The point of this award
We are all artist in are own way be it art, photography, writing, philosophy, comedy, blogging and we all go a little crazy sometimes. But if you ever feel so crazy to cut off your ear and give it to a prostitute, "Seek Help"!
Always remember you're unique.
Just like everyone else.
Okay, well, I would never feel so crazy that I would cut my own ear off, and if for some strange reason I did, I certainly wouldn't give it to a prostitute!! lmao
The next award, is this little beauty here, and it is the "Your blog is Fabulous" award! LOVE IT! I really like the graphic and I like being called fabulous!! Makes me feel all tingly and stuff.
So, these 2 awards, I am sending out to a few friends......
Dolly's Daily Diary
Of Living and Loving...and Coping
Kimmy Sharing Light
The Painted Veil
Laane on the World
Simply Charming in SC
Myissa G's Crochet
And Whew!!! I could go on and on......but again, if I didn't mention you and you want either or both of these lovely awards, just let me know, link back and grab them!!!
Thanks so much to everyone out there who makes me smile or laugh, or cry or think on a daily basis, I look up to all of you so very much. You all inspire me and keep me going!
Till next time,
