I couldn't have better Friends!

I was given this award by my good friend Bing...Her blog ~ Of Living, Loving ... and Coping is a daily read for me. She is not only a great friend, but an inspiration, not only to me, but to her many readers!

This has got to be one of the nicest awards out there! At least I think so! I just love hearts anyway....so this is special to me!!!

This is like the best news ever.....seeing as though my computer is dying, and I need to replace the whole operating system!! I am going to lose everything, so I am spending the weekend trying to back-up and salvage what I can!!

I have my poor computer back for the weekend, and will try to capture everything, although I know I won't be able to. I have so many things on here, and programs that I no longer have the discs for, or don't remember where they are....
And then once they re-install the operating system Windows XP (I don't want Vista) next week, I have to install everything all over again, and hope to get it back to somewhere near where it was!!

Anyone have any great ideas for backing up, and saving that is easy and not so time consuming as dragging and dropping every damn single file??? Any info would be helpful at this point....
But I only have the weekend to do it. Ideas.....? Suggestions....?

Awwwww, My computer is Broken!!!

Okay, so it has been acting up for a few weeks now...but now it is really broken!!!

My poor computer is at the shop, and hopefully, it will be done today or tomorrow...but there are "no guarantees"!!

Arghhhh, I hate that I won't have my computer.....what the heck am I going to do??

I have tons of things that I have to get done, and now with the computer being sick, I don't know when I am going to get all my stuff done??

I'm writing this from work, so it has to be short and sweet!

Life is Grand...and So Are Friends!!

I also received this beautiful and very meaningful award from Abby at Simply Charming in SC~!!!

She is soooo very good to me!! I am smiling from ear to ear!!!

I think Abby is so thoughtful and kind to present this award to me! Her blog is filled with the most wonderful jewelry and items, and stories, that I never tire of going over there. It's a daily read for me!!

This award comes with some fun rules: List 5 reasons why you think life is "grand" and pass along the happiness to five fellow bloggers!!!!!
I think my life is grand because:

I am blessed to have found the BEST friends ever...here while blogging!! Who knew that you could actually connect and make friends here? Not me....I thought I was just going to write on my blog for therapudic and personal reasons, and hope that maybe, someone might read it....

2. My daughter and grandson live right across the street and not only is that grand....it's awesome!!!! I can see them regularly, or when I want. And I know that may not sound like a good deal to some, but I know lot's of Grandma's who don't get to see their grandchildren often, maybe once or twice a year because of distance....so for me, this is grand!

3. I also think my life is grand because I create, and I LOVE to create!! I hope I never lose that urge or talent!

4. I also think that one of the best things ever is "breakfast foods"....and I know you probably think this is weird....but I love breakfast!! I can eat breakfast any time of the day, and sometimes do. Steve and I go out for dinner and if he asks where I want to go, I usually say "I-Hop" (International House of Pancakes) because they serve breakfast all the time!! He can have dinner and I can have my pancakes, eggs and Bacon...yum! I just love Bacon!! Grand = YES~!

5. And lastly, my life is grand because of who I've become....and that might not make sense to you, but it certainly does to me!! I have been through so much in my life, mostly bad, to get to this point....and I have to say that I am pretty impressed with myself!! I am a lot stronger than I EVER would have given myself credit for, and to get to this point and still have a great outlook?? Amazing!! That's all I'm gonna say.

Now, to bestow this GRAND AWARD onto 5 other bloggers:
I have to admit....when I think of grand, immediately these blogs come into my mind!

1. Janet of Dolly's Daily Diary ~ She has become more of a friend than she could ever know, has helped me tremendously, and still continues to inspire me daily, not only with her blog, but with her friendship!! Thank you!

2. Bing of Of Living and Loving....and Coping ~ She is also a great friend, and has helped me, I think we help each other in return....and has such a positive outlook, she makes me smile. Her blog is worth the read.

3. Sandee of Comedy Plus ~ She is one of the reasons I smile alot, her blog is THAT funny! And she always lifts my spirits with her comments and encouragement!

4. Jenn of My Kids Are My World ~ Another great friend, who always makes me laugh and gives me good advice. I don't know what I would have done without her when reading Twilight!! LOL

Blogger vs. Wordpress

Sorry, but for me, Blogger wins, Hands Down!

I am having such trouble over at my other site "The Angels Weekly"

Angels is on Wordpress, and it seems like it is nothing but problems all the time!!

When I posted on Monday night, my right sidebar totally moved to the middle column, and won't go back?? Now, I didn't touch anything in the css, or the layout, all I did was publish the articles?

I have a nice man from Wordpress support trying to help me, and after reading the help boards and the help forums at wordpress.org, it seems like I am not the only one with this problem!! There are soooo many posts there about the same exact thing!!!

Many people just posted an article on their blog, and now everything is screwed up!! The boards are loaded with complaints!! We had major problems when wordpress updated to 2.7, the site blew up and we lost Everything!! Had to start from scratch....it is just sooo frustrating!!

Now, I started blogging for FUN.... not to become some tech guru, or learn how to program for NASA.....and wordpress is really getting on my last nerve!! I love coming here to Blogger and not having those worries!! Blogger makes it easy to do what I want to do, and what I love to do!!

Now I know some will say that Blogger doesn't have all the bells and whistles that wordpress does.....but you know what??? I will be happy to keep blogging here without all the worries and the headaches, than to go to wordpress any day!!

Any opinions out there??

Abby Tagged me!!

My good friend Abby over at Simply Charming in SC decided to tag me for the 7 random facts...
And she was all kinds of excited, because this was her first tag!!
Awwww Abby, had I known, I would've tagged you a while ago!!
Well, beware now, cuz I know you secretly (well not so much now, I just let the cat out of the bag) love doing questionaires and surveys and such!

Lol, now I've played this one before...
but I am such a good sport, that I will play again!!
Okay, here goes:

I still actually have all my own teeth (except for the darn wisdom ones, which could explain a few things!)
I love the color "Red" but not in all things, and not at all times. But usually that is my favorite color. I'm not sure if I look good in it, but what the heck, I like it, so I wear it!!
I actually have small feet, size 6, and I guess that is an oddity according to how many comments I get when people see my feet, and ask me my size?? But I don't think they're "that" small ?? What the heck???
Which leads me into #4 and that is that I have a phobia about feet....not just mine but anyone's!! I don't like feet!! Ummm something about them...and you're gonna laugh, but I hate, hate, hate my feet being touched....ewwww ! So I have never had a pedicure by anyone other than myself (and that doesn't really qualify...it's just throw some polish on the nails quick and be done with it)!!! I know....laugh away....it's ok.
I am petrified....literally shaking if it snows, and I have to drive in it!! But I have never been in an accident, so there really isn't any cause for my fears, just crazy, I guess.....but I mean as soon as the flakes start coming down, I feel like I have to leave work, to get home safe!
I'll bring up an old one, just in case you don't know this about me.....I am allergic to garlic, and the slightest bit on my food, and I'm throwing up and in the bathroom for a good 12 hours at least!! Not so good, seeing as though I'm 1/2 Italian....and that practically "everybody" puts garlic, or garlic powder or garlic salt in almost everything now-a-days!! Kinda makes it tough to go out to eat....and I love to eat!!!
And finally, my house is so full of stuff, that I really don't think I could fit much else in here!! I have collected and inherited and saved loads of things, and I am a packrat, so I don't get rid of anything!!!! Truly there isn't much open space in my house....I am a clutter bug!!! But I love to work in the chaos, sometimes my best ideas and work come out of my mess!! So, I need it!!

So, there you have another 7 random things about me!!!
