No Entrecard Dropping Stinks!!

This is my opinion of Entrecard for the past 2 weeks!!!!

I give it the big Ol' thumbs down, because I haven't been able to drop more than a few Entrecards, and I'm not happy about it.

I have sent numerous support tickets, and it starts to work again, and I get to drop a few and then it won't work again....arghhhhh!

It seems as though I am stuck between login and logout for some reason? The screen keeps telling me I have to log in, but the bar up the top shows I'm already logged in, but when I try to drop my cards, it won't let me....so, I try to log in, and it tells me that my email is an invalid email and not one that is registered!! See what I mean??

So then, it starts to work, and Entrecard finally responds to say, we saw recent activity, do you still need assistance?? And I email back "no, the problem seems to be fixed now" and then WHAM! Once the ticket is closed....no more workie for Entrecard for me??

I really am very frustrated, and I really appreciate everyone who has still dropped on me, even though I haven't been able to reciprocate!! Thank you for your faithfullness!!

Hopefully, I will be up and running again soon, and this time if it gets fixed and they email me, I will tell them "No, please look into why it keeps happening??"

An ACEO From A True Artist!

I received this Beautiful ACEO from Kristin at My Art and the Mom in Me...

An ACEO is an artist's trading card, and they are about the size of business card, but a bit bigger, and some artists use these as their business cards, hence the the name.

But mine was the result of the Generosity Award that has been passed around and back and forth, and I was so lucky to have received this little gem from Kristin. She painted it herself, and also made the frame!! How talented is she??

Kristin also makes some wonderful beads and you can visit her Etsy shop Paper Mache Beads and see the gems she has there! I bought some of her beads and can't wait to make a necklace with them!! You will have to check back to see what I create with Kristin's beads.....kind of a collaborative effort.

Thanks a million Kristin, I am so glad we are friends!!

Mail Call...and it's Wonderful!

I received this GORGEOUS pair of earrings in the mail a few days ago, but, because I am behind again...I am posting them now for everyone to see!!!

These beauties were made for me by my dear friend Abby over at Simply Charming in SC. They are beautiful silver discs with little pink beads dangling in the center!!

This was what she sent to me for the gratitude award that was posted a while back. I think they are simply stunning!! What a great friend Abby is...

She has so many other beautiful creations in her Etsy shop and in her ArtFire shop too! I would highly recommend that if you haven't perused the goodies in either of her shops, that you head over there right now. She makes the most wonderful jewelry and has started to make some amazing sun catchers too!!

I love the meaning behind the award that started all this giving, and I can't thank Christina enough for being the creator and first giver of the award. It truly has shown us some amazing crafters along with showing us true friendship too! All the friends in this bloggy circle have been extremely generous with their gifts and their time, and I couldn't ask for better friends!!

A Cute Penguin!

I received this cute penguin to brighten my day and I just had to show you~!

This was sent to me by my very good friend over at CB's Polyworks, and she is the creator and genius behind the Generosity award!

I was lucky enough to be selected by her to be sent a goodie from her as her "gift of appreciation" to me for following her blog and sticking with her! Now, there was simply no need to do that, I followed her blog because it is one of the best!
But she chose to create this award and gifted me with this cutie of a penguin that is all handmade with polymer clay, and even has a magnet on the back so I can hang it up! How cute is this?!?!
She is so talented!!

Anyway, since then, myself and the other blogger awarded ~ Kristin of My Art and the Mom in Me, have passed this award along to others, who have passed this along to others and so on.....

I simply think this is a beautiful award, and it is all about giving!! It could be free advertising on your blog, or a post written about the selected few, or even a gift as I have received here...but whatever it is...it's about love and giving back, and that is a good feeling!!

2nd Grade Kids Are Funny!

This struck me as funny, so I thought I'd share....

WHY GOD MADE MOMS
Answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions:

Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3.. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the
world and one dab of mean. (you have to love this one!)
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I
think..

Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.

What kind of little girl was your mom?
1. My Mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy. (out of the mouths of babes)
3. They say she used to be nice.

What did Mom need to know about dad before she married him?
1. His last name.
2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on
beer?
3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?

Why did your mom marry your dad?
1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot.
2. She got too old to do anything else with him. (I'd die if this was my child!)
3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on.

Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between moms & dads?
1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's
who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.
4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.

What does your mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your mom perfect?
1. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.
2. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic
surgery.
3. A giant diet pill.

If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and
not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her
head. 

All of these answers are classic!! You gotta love kids and their un-rehearsed answers!
