Ok guys, I need your help!
On the magazine that I own and edit, The Angels Weekly, I get all kinds of spam and comments that I don't think are comments, and I am confused about them?? Can anyone help me sort them out?
The platform for the magazine is wordpress, which I am not great with, and a lot of the comments that are pending moderation, aren't really comments, but it looks like someone stole the article and reprinted some of it with a link to our page? When I click on the url of the user, it brings me to a page, that sometimes does and sometimes doesn't have anything to do with what the article in question is about? But there is a portion of the article, on someone else's page, with a "read more" that takes you back to our magazine?? I am so confused??
Are they stealing our content?? Or just using it for filler?? Should I be approving these to get links that Google likes?? Or would approving them be bad?? I just don't know?? Help me please!!
So, today I go to my comment section, and there are 2 Twitter Trackbacks?? What the heck is that?? Can anyone help me out?? I will copy and paste below for you:

He was an wickedly talented DJ, who spun records at many Hollywood clubs and parties, both private and for the public. The Palms Casino Resort paid tribute to DJ AM by showing this on their resort. It is a nice tribute, but it's a shame it has to be done at all!

I have been trying to come up with a good or even a great present for Steve's upcoming birthday. I haven't fully decided what I am going to get, but I really like the looks of this Bulova Watch!
They have so many nice Bulova chronograph watches that it is making it hard for me to make up my mind!! The main things that I like about this chronograph watch are that this is water and scratch resistant (something that is great for him) and I think that the silver with the black accents looks very stylish. I think this would be perfect!
He would love the fact that it has a 60 minute chronograph and a 24 hour and second hand subdial, with a date display too! He is into all that manly stuff about dials and readouts and such. I don't understand why you would want so many things on your watch, but most men's watches that I have seen do have all the bells and whistles on them. The hands on this watch are also iluminted, so he can see it in the dark, which is good for the nights he works.
This might be the one!

I was over at Facebook, playing one of my favorite games, Pathwords, which is kind of like Boggle, where you have to make words with letters that are connected, and this is the board I ended up with, with more than half the time left to play??? What the heck can I make from this???
I had already played about 5 games and kept getting loads of "V's" and "Q's" and "Z's" and I was getting frustrated, but I tried my best to make it work and make as many words as I could, and then the time would run out....
But seriously!! Come on?? I was only able to make 3 letter words till I finally ended up with this board!!
And I know I could make one more "zoo" on the right hand side, but I had already made 3 of them, and you don't get points for repeating words, so I just took the screenshot instead.
Do you play pathwords......and has this happened to you???
Let me know,
Kat

I have loved dollhouses since I was a little girl. I used to have a dollhouse, but it was nothing fancy, it was just a basic dollhouse. And I never had enough furniture to put in it so it wasn't all that much fun to play with. I think if I could have used my creative juices and redecorated all the rooms (which I wasn't allowed to do) and had my pick of dollhouse accessories, I would have had an awesome dollhouse and would have played with it for hours on end.
I love going to Minna's Doll World, where she has loads of information and pictures of all sorts of doll houses and miniatures. I follow her site because I think deep down, I still yearn for that old dollhouse and wish I could have done more with it? Minna shows us all how much fun it is to to be collector and build and decorate doll houses.
I have another friend Pam who lives in South Carolina, and I remember she was making a doll house from scratch. And she kept me up to date with all the goings on and the remodeling and the decorating. She also works in polymer clay and made some amazing dishes and accessories with the clay for her doll house. She was another one that made me long for my old doll house.
I think that if I could do it all again, I would definitely have one of the best doll houses ever!! I love this little bathroom set that is made of porcelain in the delts pattern, and the commode even has an oak lid that lifts up! How cute is this? It comes with a bathtub, a cute pedestal sink, a toilet and a mirror. This little set would go into my bathroom for sure! There are also great looking cabinets and nightstands that would go lovely next to the four poster bed that I would just have to have!! And the kitchen would be equipped with only the finest appliances and the cutest little dishes.
Just thinking about all the fun I could have decorating a doll house now has me wanting to do it. There are just so many things available now, that I didn't have when I was a little girl. There is even customized wallpaper made to fit into the rooms! How easy is that? I really want to do this, but now I just have to find the time!
Till Next Time,
Take Care,
Kat

If you are like me, then you get tired pretty quickly of browsing the many different sites that are on the internet, looking for the best price for an item that you want.
I have totally given up doing the back and forth search, and stick with only one search that offers me the best of all the stores on the internet! This amazing store search engine is the best thing that I have found in trying to locate items that I need without all the fuss of going here and there and trying to write down or remember who had what and at what price? Shop Wiki is the best thing ever!! They offer so many different items from clothing to appliances that you can find exactly what you are looking for, and the best price that the major retailers and smaller stores are offering them for. Who wouldn't want to use this search?
I am lucky enough to have found a new pizza cutter that is cheaper than I can get it locally. They also have some awesome knives that I might have to get with my next order. My pizza cutter is warped and old, so finding a new one was high on my list of things to get.
We are also getting a new automatic drip coffee maker for work, ours just recently died and we have been using a terrible old one that barely works. Or should I say that the others are using it... I myself am a tea drinker, so I don't use the coffee maker. But the others in the office use it continuously all day long, and we are constantly buying new ones. I think this one will hold up longer because it is more durable than the cheaper ones we usually get.
I also need a new toaster oven, not to actually cook in, but to bake my polymer clay pieces. I know, you are thinking this is strange, right? A big thing about polymer clay is that you should never use any oven that you also cook food in, because if it burns, it emits toxic fumes, so I always use a separate toaster oven for all my clay pieces. See, the clay needs to be baked at a precise temperature or else it will burn, and the thermostat on my toaster oven doesn't have a regular temperature. It fluctuates too much, and I have burned more pieces than I care to mention. So I need a better toaster oven that has a thermostat on that holds a regular temp so that my pieces of jewelry come out perfect!! I will be making a lot more and I really don't want them to burn.
I really love going here to do my shopping, it makes my life so much easier! And who doesn't want easier in their life??
Till next Time,

My Cousin Iain is absolutely ecstatic that he just saved 70% off his van insurance. He has his own business and uses his van for his work, and his insurance company just offered 70% off for all vans. He applied online to get a quote for how much he would save and he qualified for the full amount that was offered!! He is a happy man!
He also is getting tool insurance, something I didn't even know that insurance companies offered? This one does, so he can insure his tools against theft for a low price per year. I think this is a wonderful idea for anyone who owns their own business and uses expensive tools every day on the job.
He is also thinking of signing up his business with them too. It would be cheaper for him in the long run if he had all his insurance needs taken care of by the same company, and that way he could get additional discounts. I told him to check and see if they offer homeowners insurance because that might help him out too, and he said he remembers seeing it on the website, so he is going back to look it over again.
I wish I could get a deal like that from my insurance company!! I know I don't drive a van, but I do drive an SUV and maybe there is a deal on insurance for that??

While browsing the internet and looking for ways How to Make Money Blogging, I came across this site, that I thought you might be interested in. The author of this blog writes on a number of different topics, but some of them are very informative. I did find lots of useful tips and hints here.
I especially liked his take on Blogging for Money and found some useful information that I wasn't aware of. He writes in a style that is informative as well as funny, and that makes reading his blog easier for me. If there is too much technical stuff there, my brain usually shuts down, and I don't gather any information. But here, it was easy to read and follow.
I also learned some interesting information about Revenue Sharing. Now I was completely unaware of this, and didn't even know what it was until I came across this blog. What a wonderful find!! I hope now to make the revenue with my blog like he does. He seems to be quite successful and I hope I can take his tips and hints and turn them into cash. Anything at all would help me at this point, so I am always on the lookout for blogs that can give me information to help me on my way.

My friend Dottie and I went to see this last night on opening night, and boy, are we glad we did!
It was such a good movie! I have to admit it was a little confusing in some parts, but mostly it was wonderful. The theater was packed, very few seats left unoccupied, and there were lots of guys in there with their girlfriends too!! It was not a typical chick flick in that they guys would groan, or squirm, it actually has a story, and to follow that story you need to pay attention. And we all did....
It is about a man (Eric Bana)who travels through time, most of the time unexpectedly, and keeps going back to the major places in his life. Where he will appear next is anyone's guess, and in what year? Also, when he travels, he sheds his clothes, and when he appears in the next area (wherever or whenever that might be) he is completely naked!! So we got to see a lot of naked Eric Bana, and his backside. :)
So he meets Claire, played by Rachael McAdams (and played very well I might add) when she is a little girl of 6 years old, and tells her that he comes from the future and that he knows her when she grows up to be a lady. Obviously she doesn't believe him, until he disappears right before her eyes. And when he disappears, he sort of disintegrates, or starts to fade away, like celluloid evaporating, and then poof! He is gone, and his clothes drop to the floor. See the picture below of him starting to disappear and travel. You can click on the pic to make it bigger.
Then the movie has an older Claire looking for him in the places he usually returns to, and she starts to leave him clothes in those areas too, so that he has something to put on when he shows up. The bad thing is, he never knows when he will show up in a certain time or year. He also pops in and out being older and younger at different intervals, and Claire is confused because she has only seen him older (about 40 she said) and so when he comes to her as a younger man, she is thrilled and even more in love with him than she was before.
They get married, but it is a hard life for Claire, always waiting for him to show up once he has traveled. I kind of wish there was a way that he could have controlled it to some degree, because I felt bad for Claire, and I felt confused sometimes myself. There is some comedy in here, but not a lot, mostly it is a romantic drama.
I would highly recommend this movie, and although I haven't read the book, I have heard that the book is even better? Me and Dottie can't figure out how they would clear up the confusion with the book....if you can't see it. We saw it and we didn't get the parts of the same person in the same place at the same time with themselves?? Sounds confusing, right? Well try seeing it and figuring it out?
But even with the confusion, we both thought this was an excellent movie!! I will admit, I cried. Not big slobbering sobs, but the tears rolled down my cheeks. And I saw Dottie wipe her eyes on a few occasions too. But the girl next to me with her boyfriend didn't seem to cry?? Maybe because she was with her boyfriend?? Or maybe because she was a lot younger than us?? But, we both said we will buy it on DVD when it comes out, so we can see it again!!
I hope you liked the review....if you go to see it, let me know what you thought??
Take care,
Kat

Lately I have been hearing noises out in my backyard, and I really think I need to get some lights out there so that I can see what is going on, or what is out there?? Right now, my little porch light doesn't reach into the backyard, so it is totally dark out there.
I have been looking at the LED light selection and all the options that are out there, and gosh! I could light my backyard up to look like a football field with all the options they have! They have bars of lights, just like you see at the stadium, and lots of others that are more my style. They have a few really nice wall mount lights that I think would be perfect for my backyard.
I don't know if I want a flood beam, or a wide beam of light, or just a couple of small and narrow spot beams of light? There are so many options to choose from? I know I need to get some light into my yard for the night time, and maybe motion sensors would be a good choice? That way the beam of light(s) only come on when something or someone is out there? I'm beginning to like this idea more and more. The great thing about LED lights is that they use less amps than the regular lights, and they are water tight and no dust can get in them to cloud up the glass. This is a great selling point, I think, less energy and durable and water-tight, sounds like what I need.
I'm telling you that all these choices from Magnalight have given me so many options to choose from, along with a few new ideas on how I can use lighting in other areas. But first we have to light up the backyard to find the source of the night noises and ease my mind.
I'm going to see The Time Travelers Wife tonight!!
See the trailer here...
I'll let you know how it was.............
Take care,
Kat

I was quite shocked to get this award, but I have to admit that I am a loyal visitor to Liz's sites
Boy, the hits just keep coming!! My Candle website is down and I'm having a problem with my server, and now my printer has stopped working too! What else can go wrong?? Or should I even ask?
Now I have to go through the printer drivers to see which one I have to download for my printer to get it working again. I am glad there are drivers available for download, or I would be in hot water. I have misplaced the original disc that came with the printer because it was so long ago when I bought it. So I can't just pop that in and be on my merry way. I have to look through the hp drivers and find the correct one and download it, so that my printer works again. I hope that is the issue.
If not, I guess my only other option is to check all my other computer drivers to make sure that they are not affected and are all in working order. I have been told that there will be a yellow exclamation point next to the invalid driver or drivers so that I know which ones require me to fix them, or to download replacements.
I really hope this is an easy process and that I can get my computer back up to speed. My big issue is still with my website, and no driver can help me to fix that!!

I was visiting Welcome to my Loonyverse, and wanted to share this post with all of you!
It was a powerful post for me to read, and I want to help to spread the word.
Here is dddiva's post:
For today's safe Sunday post I thought I would tell y'all why we think it is so important and we're doing everything we can to spread the word- don't forget, you get 10 extra entries into my Amazon/PayPal/OLS giveaway if you link to Safe Sunday. Yes, it matters that much.
My friend Trina from A Blessed Mommy of 6 was physically and mentally abused as a child and placed into foster care as a teen, as was her sister. Even though the abuse continued while she was in the system, Trina grew up to be a productive citizen and leads a pretty good life all things considered although there are times I wish she had a little more self-esteem. She's working hard on it, though, and getting so much better and stronger and developing feelings of worthiness.
Here sister was not so fortunate. She turned to drugs and guys and had 4 children of her own, who, unfortunately could not fill the void that is lacking in her and she in turn did what she knew which was abuse and allow others to abuse them. Long story short, to keep those children out of the system Trina and her husband fostered then adopted those children even though they have two children of their own, one of them who is severely physically and mentally handicapped.
Why would this family living on one (cops) income take on such a huge responsibility? To break the cycle. They could no more let their nephew and nieces continue to be abused or have them split up than they could give up one of their biological children. In Trina's own words, those kids did nothing to deserve this and they deserve a chance at a decent life. We are going to do what we can to help see that they grow up knowing that nothing that happened was their fault and that life isn't supposed to and doesn't have to be that way.
It is not easy, it is not without its drawbacks and setbacks, and financially it is majorly rough on them and the whole family has had to make sacrifices but every one of them feels, with that deep down in the gut knowledge, that it was the only thing they could do.
This is my small way to show Trina how much I admire and respect what she's doing and how much I appreciate the life she's giving those children, a life they most likely never would have known otherwise.
If you or someone you know is being abused, or you suspect it, please seek professional help.
You can find more information here:

Please, get the word out if you can. You can give your own testimony, stats, numbers, cut and paste my post, anything at all so we break the cycle and let these kids know it is not their fault, and it does not have to be that way. Thank you so very much, I really appreciate it. And remember, you can get 10 extra entries just for linking to this post on your own blog and spreading the word, then add your link here. Here we go again people....
Another great....Director John Hughes is dead of a heart attack at age 59 while visiting family and friends in Manhattan, New York. He was evidently walking down the street in Manhattan and collapsed right there on the sidewalk!
He is best know for his teen comedies like the Breakfast Club (a great movie, no matter how old it gets!), and Sixteen Candles, but he is also known for making Macauley Culkin a star with the Home Alone movies too! Oh yeah, and we can't forget Ferris Bueller's Day Off, what a hoot that one was!! He was ahead of his time when these movies came out, and that is why they still stand today.
He had become somewhat of a recluse in the later years, not really writing or directing much of anything, in fact his last directorial job was in 1991 for Curly Sue, which introduced us to Steve Carrell. He is also loved for his movies, Pretty in Pink, National Lampoons Vacation and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
He was so young, and so gifted....he will be missed. Luckily, he has left us with some wonderful movies to watch over and over.
Till Next Time,
Kat :(

As you all probably know, I am cold by nature, and always need something to keep me warm, and the brand that I love best is North Face. They have a complete line of just about anything I could want to keep myself cozy and warm in the winter months, and for those chilly evenings on Cape Cod.
I don't ski and I don't participate in any winter sports because they are just too cold for me, but we get loads of snow here in Massachusetts and it gets mighty cold, so I always have my Breck gear on hand. I have found that this brand of fleece and outerwear is the warmest and most comfortable I can find. I also don't mind spending a little extra money on North Face items, because I know how durable they are. They last me for years, and I just keep adding to my collection.
I have lots of the fleece pullovers because they are the warmest of any that I have found, and I have them in most colors! They also have an awesome pair of fleece pants that are soft, and thermal (for those cold, cold days) they are quick drying and no matter how many times I wash them, they don't pill or fade!! And they retain their shape!! Most fleece pants, shrink and pill and I really don't like that at all!! These pants have an elastic waist with a drawcord and they are so lightweight, yet so warm!! I would highly recommend these pants if you are cold!!
I'm telling you, if you are looking for cold weather gear, you need to check out North Face, they make the best!!
Take care,
Kat

Isn't this the cutest dog and baby you have seen??
This is my boy, Marcus, all decked out in his DX gear for Shawn Michaels (who also wasn't there) and his John Cena dog tags. He had a great time, and we got him a souvenir program and it has some really nice 8&1/2 X 11 pics in of all his favs!!
LOL, okay, so this is me....
This is a blurry pic of Ange with the sign guy Rick....he is at all of the matches, and if you watch any of them, he is always there in the front row, taunting the wrestlers with his signs and his heckling. The wrestlers interact with him too!! Last night, Shelton Benjamin walked up to him saying something, took his sign, and ripped it up and threw it in his face!!!
This was the last match of the night, the Triple Threat match, that put 3 wrestlers in the ring at once, and whoever pinned someone first won.....
The crowd was cheering, and he got the heck out of the ring before Khali or Kane knew what was going on.....LOL
